Free MMOFPS?
If anyone knows of any good MMOFPS's could you please post them here.
Ive heard of AVA - but the site is in Korean so i cant register or download and WarRock gets to the loading screen and then crashes.

If you cant afford $20 for TF2, then you have more problems than needing to find a game...

NOT FRII? GIMME FRII NOUUU!!!
Seriously though, even I can afford to pay $20 for an awesome game that will last for many hours.
Even if you play it only 10 hours a month, it's still cheaper than 4 movies in the cinema + drinks/snacks every month. No?
Unless you really want to be a cheap cake, then download Enemy Territory... Just don't be shocked if most of the players will own you at sight, this game is kind of old.
...Never thought I would say that, geez...

This.
It's also one of the few games out there that has a decent sense of humor, too.

Well, you can play a free one that's going to be mediocre, at best. Or you can buy TF2, which is quite cheap, and absolutely amazing.

half-life 2 death match is free if u have an nvidia card
http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/
i'd hope this would allow u to download free hl2 mods?
like fortress forever (the lesser tf2)
there r quite a few decent hl2 multiplayer mods out there
anyways...
as for "free mmofps" in the strictest sense:
americas army: http://www.americasarmy.com/
gunz: http://gunz.ijji.com/
soldier front: http://sfront.ijji.com/
combat arms: http://combatarms.nexon.net/
operation 7: http://op7.netgame.com/
warrock: http://warrock.gamersfirst.com/
fear combat: http://projectorigin.warnerbros.com/fearcombat/
return to castle wolfenstein: http://www.splashdamage.com/node/57
warsow: http://www.warsow.net/
starsiege tribes: http://www.fileplanet.com/section.aspx?s=30243&v=0
thats off the top of my head
if i can remember more, i'll post em
now for my opinion on them...
gunz: one of my faves for coolness factor, but its not nub friendly
americas army: good game, but the slow style of play is not for everyone
rtcw: awesome game from wut i hear (i've tried it, but never really got into it)
fear combat: i've never played the multiplayer, but the single-player was awesome o__o
combat arms: its very accessible, but i find too simplistic (meant for kiddies?)
warsow: one of the best free multipalyer fps games no ones heard bout (its basically q3:arena)
everything else: havent played
if u r gonna spend money on a multiplayer fps...
i'd buy counter-strike 1 anthology for $10
or tf2 for $20
(cod4 is also awesome, but more pricey)
this will open u to many many good multiplayer hl1 and hl2 mods
some free mods r actually better than a lot of the free mmofps i listed earlier
